Reaching out to communities 2002

I was commissioned to document the Toxteth Health and Community Care Forum’s “Jobs Event ” day.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about the jobs available within the NHS and to encourage people from Merseyside’s ethnic minorities to apply for posts within the NHS.

The video produced was influential in changing policy by getting local Primary Care Trusts to sign a pledge to ensure that greater effort would taken to ensure that minority were given fair and equal access to job opportunities offered in the health sector on Merseyside.
