Produced, edited by Joseph Cooper, interview Greg Dropkin.

In November 2002 I took the opportunity to attend a lecture at Manchester University and record a lecture and interview with leading Israeli academic Dr Ilan Pappé.

The interview was made by Greg Dropkin a freelance journalist later published in various print and online publications under the title “Israeli Jewish myths and the prospect of American war ” download a full transcript of this interview (here)

I was not commissioned to carry out this work and therefore no budget. I chose to make the recordings after hearing that Dr Pappé would be in our vicinity. I funded the project myself. So there are now entire recordings of the lecture and interview within my archives and are available to researchers and broadcasters.

Please contact me if you require any further information regarding this material.

It was felt that it would be useful to edit the recordings from the lecture and interview. This first edit of the material was donated to Liverpool Friends of Palestine who have sole VHS, DVD distribution rights to that particular edit. If you require a copy of the VHS or DVD of that edit or require any information about the VHS, DVD distribution of the edit please contact Greg Dropkin.

I make the video available here solely as an example of my work and so that researchers are made aware of the materials existence and availability.

Footage from the interview was made available to Sufyan and Abdallah Omeish for inclusion in their awarding winning documentary Occupation 101 visit Sufyan and Abdallah’s site (click here) to see clips and further information about their documentary.
