Aimhigher: “It’s open to you my child” 2003

I was commissioned to make five short documentaries by Aimhigher Greater Merseyside to examine the experiences of students at University.

Aimhigher Greater Merseyside have a remit to increase the number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who apply for and enter higher education.

They seek to strengthen partnerships between schools, colleges, universities and other providers of post-16 education operating with Excellence in Cities areas and Education Action Zone.

The videos are used by Aimhigher to encourage more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to apply to University.
